On Thursday, March 1st, 2018 just after 10:00 PM, Marshall County Officer Wozniak
initiated a traffic stop on a green 1998 Ford Ranger in the area of Redwood Road and US
30 for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, Lindsey E. Trump, was found to
be operating a vehicle on a suspended-prior driver`s license. She was taken to the
Marshall County Jail and was charged with Driving While Suspended-Prior.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable
cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only
probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent
throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to
a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable
doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
