Due to the recent flood and damage caused by the flood Marshall County Sheriff Matthew Hassel wants to remind the citizens of Marshall County to be aware of possible scammers coming to our area. Unfortunately, many scammers will move into disaster areas in an attempt to take advantage of the victims of a disaster. If you are contacted by an individual or company for restoration and/or flood clean-up and you believe them to be suspicious, please contact your local law enforcement agency.
