Argos Elementary welcomes all families wishing to attend Argos Community Schools. In preparation for the 2018-2019 school year, Argos Elementary will be hosting A Peek Into Kindergarten and Preschool/PreK Round-Up on Tuesday, March 20, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
During Round-Up, Preschool children will go through a screening to determine their placement. A Peek Into Kindergarten is an opportunity for children entering Kindergarten to meet the Kindergarten teachers and participate in reading and math stations. Parents will also have an opportunity to sign up for a screening time that will take place during Kindergarten Round-Up.
Kindergarten Round-Up will be held on Thursday, April 12, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
All incoming kindergarten students will go through a short screening process at Round-Up. Please call the Argos Elementary School office at 574-892-5139 to schedule a screening time. For a child to be eligible for kindergarten this upcoming year, he/she must be five years of age on or before August 1, 2018.
Parents should bring their incoming student, along with the child’s birth certificate, immunization record and social security card to Round-Up. Copies will be made of the original documents. No money will be collected at Round-Up.
