Jerry L. White, CPA, will be joining Culver Academies as the Chief Operations Officer. He begins his new role on March 1.
White comes to Culver from Albion College in Albion, Michigan, where he has served as the Vice President for Finance and Administration since September 2014. He has also worked at Spring Arbor University, Spring Arbor, Michigan, and Huntington University, Huntington, Indiana, in similar roles. He has also held positions at Krouse, Kern & Co., Inc.; Elkhart General Hospital, and Ernst & Young.
White received his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Anderson University and his Master of Science degree in education from Purdue University. He also attended the National Higher Education Academy. White holds his Certified Public Accountant certification.
He is a member of the National Association of College and University Business Officers; having served on the Small Institutions Council; a past board member of the Central Association of College and University Business Officers; and past president of the Indiana Association of College and University Business Officers.
He is also a member of the Indiana CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
