Tobacco-CessationSaint Joseph Health System (SJHS)Community Health & Well-Being is hosting a free, seven-week Tobacco Cessation Class “Freedom From Smoking” at the Community Resource Center of Marshall County beginning Thursday, March 1. Participants should register by Monday, February 26, 2018.

Offered through SJHS Community Health & Well-Being, the Tobacco Cessation Class is designed to serve as a resource for community members to eliminate their use of tobacco products. This class is recommended for individuals who are trying to quit and need a little help along the way. With the new year, it is a great time to quit!

Led by Tobacco Education Coordinator, Latorya Greene, course topics include: understanding addiction to nicotine; learning the importance of behavior change; mastering the first few days of quitting; mastering obstacles; and staying quit and enjoying a smoke-free life.

 

Classes will be held at the Community Resource Center of Marshall County located at 510 W. Adams St.  Plymouth, Indiana on Thursdays from 6 – 7:30 pm including: March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and April 5 and 12. Contact (574) 335-4684 for more information or to register.
