Triton Jr.-Sr. High School teacher and coach, Ron Brown, received notice that he has been named one of five national finalists for the Rose Bowl Game, Coaches Making a Difference award.
Coach Brown was nominated by a former student for the award.
The award recognizes coaches making a difference in the lives of their students and in their communities. The other four finalists were from: Texas, North Carolina, Wyoming, and Kentucky.
Coach Brown will receive a Rose Bowl Prize package.
Superintendent Donna Burroughs said, “This is quite an honor for one of Triton’s finest!”
