Handcuffs-newPlymouth Police arrested 35 year old Scott M. Tharpe Monday evening after he was observed creating a traffic hazard near the Duke of Oil on North Michigan Street. He was also observed attempting to make entry into several vehicles.

Tharpe was walking northbound in the southbound lanes of Michigan Street near Plymouth Goshen Trail when Plymouth Police Officer Krynock observed him.

The officer determined that Tharpe was intoxicated and while taking him into custody an off-duty Marshall County officer said he witnessed Tharpe approach his personal vehicle.

Scott Tharpe was booked into the Marshall County Jail on a charge of Public Intoxication and held on a $500 cash bond.
