For the past four years, Marshall County Tourism (MCCVB) has allocated funding for the marketing, development, and hosting of events exhibiting positive tourism potential to Marshall County. These funds are to assist qualified organizations with the promotion of tourism activities striving to directly increase hotel/motel occupancy and create positive image building publicity for Marshall County.
New for 2018, the Tourism Enhancement and Development (TED) Events Grants has been established to support events taking place in Marshall County, Indiana that attract visitors. $25,000.00 will be awarded on an annual basis. The program offers a non-matching grant for requests up to $2000.00. The TED Events Grant will be offered once a year. The grant can be used for such things as advertising, printing and promotional expenses that bring visitors to Marshall County and encourage overnight stays.
