The Friends of the Plymouth Public Library will host a HUGE Book Sale Friday, November 17th through Tuesday, November 21st.
Hundreds books, CDs and DVDs will be on sale. Paperback books are $.25 and hardback books are $.50. The library has many CDs for sale at $.50 and tons of DVDs for just a dollar.
This HUGE Book Sale is another fundraising event for the Friends of the Plymouth Public Library.
The Friends of the PPL are made up of all kinds of people, especially those who love reading and want others to have the benefits of using a library. They provide money to purchase items needed in the library that are not provided for in the library budget. Friends of the Plymouth Public Library also provide financing for over 500 children to participate in the Summer Reading program.
To do all this, the Friends of the PPL fundraise for the library through a variety of means: book sales, bake sales and the wagon and wheelchair rental booth at the Blueberry Festival.
Friends of the Plymouth Public Library regularly accept donations of books, cassette tapes, CD’s, DVD’s, computer software in good resale condition during normal library hours. They don’t accept magazines or VHS tapes.
