MugShot_Boyd, GeraldThe Plymouth Police Department has made two arrested in the August 28th burglary at Maax, located at 1001 North Oak Drive in Plymouth.

The police report says 49 year old Gerald V. Boyd Sr. of North Judson had entered the building during the overnight hours and when he attempted to remove a change machine and move it down some stairs the machine fell down the stairs and landed on top of Boyd. When employees came in that morning they located Boyd at the bottom of the stairs with the business’s change machine on top of him.

Gerald Boyd Sr. was airlifted to Memorial Hospital for the injuries he sustained in the incident.

During an investigation by Detective Leo Mangus it was determined that Boyd had made unauthorized entry into the building and had no authority to remove the change machine.

On October 9th an arrest warrant for burglary and theft for Boyd was issued and he was arrested on and lodged in the Marshall County Jail.

MugShot_Earnest, ElliottContinuing with the investigation, Detective Mangus found that Elliott Earnest of Knox had participated in the burglary. He was located and questioned on October 17th and then lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Conspiracy to Commit Burglary.
