As part of their college and career guidance activities, all Triton Jr.-Sr. High School students visit area post-high school educational facilities and area businesses during a school day. Last week, eighth graders visited Ivy Tech in Warsaw and learned about their training programs. The goal is to help all students become aware of their options for training and employment after high school. Triton appreciates the support they receive from these educational organizations and businesses.
Triton Elementary School Kindergarten students have already made so much progress this year. Pictured from Mrs. Melling’s classroom are Aimee-Grace Overmyer, Macy Olesen, Lukas Jones, and Gavin Hoffer practicing their reading.
Students participating in Robotics at Triton Elementary School picked their robot designs and started building within their sub teams. There is one all girl team called Trojan Girls and the sponsors have applied for a Girl Powered Grant to fund their robot registration. This is a very exciting year for the Triton team. Anyone interested in sponsoring these teams for upcoming competitions should contact Triton Elementary School.
Triton Elementary School held their Trojan PRIDE kick-off assembly on Friday, the 13th. It was a lucky day for many of the Trojans! Pictured are the students who won t-shirts for collecting at least $100 in pledges for the “Walk-a-Thon.”
The Trojan PRIDE t-shirt is a badge of honor that has to be earned by good behavior choices.
