County Highway Administrator Laurie Baker gave the commissioners an update on revenues during their meeting Monday.
Baker said, “We did see an uptick in our revenue in MVH (Motor Vehicle Highway) this past month. We received $440,397 which is kind of an oh ho because we had only had $349 thousand an odd dollars for the month before.” She clarified her comment by saying, “Compared to last year with this year we are only up $18,341.”
Revenue for Local Roads and Streets shows an increase of a little over $57,000 from this same time last year.
