Plymouth Fire DepartmentPlymouth Fire Chief Rod Miller presented members or the Board of Public Works and Safety with his monthly report during their meeting Monday.

Fire and EMS responded to a total of 623 alarm situations in September, 126 were EMS incidents, 6 medical assists and 1 EMS rescue call.   Fire calls were 1 chemical release, 1 electrical wiring issue, 1 call for other service, 2 other fires, 2 vehicle fires, 2 natural vegetation fires, 2 smoke problems and 3 structure fires.

During September emergency responders were dispatched to 4 false alarms and dispatched and cancelled en route 12 times.

Alarm incidents by district were: 1 in Bourbon, LaPaz and Polk Township, 108 in Plymouth, 24 in Center Township and 21 in West Township.  The Plymouth Fire Department also did paramedic assists with Argos, LaPaz and Walkerton.
