MugShot_Brittney LottieA traffic stop Sunday morning, October 8th by County Police ended with a South Bend woman being lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Possession of Cocaine and Narcotic Drugs. 

Officer Wozniak initiated a traffic stop on a tan 2004 Chevrolet Impala in the area of US 30 and Elm Road at 3:40.  The driver of the vehicle, 29 year old Brittney J. Lottie was found to driving with a suspended license with a prior driving status and operating a vehicle without ever receiving a driver`s license.  She was also found to have an active warrant through LaPorte County.

Throughout the investigation, Officer Wozniak smelled an odor of marijuana emitting from inside the vehicle.  The officer located approximately 3 grams of marijuana, 1 gram of cocaine and a schedule 1 controlled substance inside the vehicle. 

Lottie was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $3,000 cash bond.
