MugShot_Ronald FinchumOn Wednesday afternoon, October 4, the Marshall County Sheriff`s Department was notified of a car theft in the 7,000 block of 11A Road.

An officer with the Bourbon Police Department located the stolen vehicle and initiated a traffic stop at Quad and Main Street in Bourbon. The suspect, 58 year old Ronald Finchum of Culver was taken into custody without incident.

Marshall County Police Officer Jordan Rans handled the investigation and a substance believed to be methamphetamine was located on Mr. Finchum`s person.

Ronald Finchum was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Auto Theft as a Level 6 Felony and Possession of Methamphetamine as a Level 6 Felony. He was issued a Marshall Superior Court II date of October 31 for his initial hearing.
