A two vehicle accident on State Road 17 Thursday afternoon claimed the life of the Plymouth man.
At 2:55 Marshall County Police and the Plymouth Fire Department responded to the area of State Road 17 and 12th Road for a personal injury accident.
County police have not released the details of the crash that involved a Ford Ranger and a motorcycle.
20 year old Daniel Osborn was driving the motorcycle and somehow collided with the front driver’s corner of the pick-up. The impact threw Osborn into the ditch on the east side of the road.
Osborn was transported to Saint Joseph Health Systems in Plymouth by paramedics and Samaritan Helicopter was at the hospital to transport him to a trauma center but his condition deteriorated and he died at the hospital.
Marshall County Police are expected to release details of the accident later Friday.
