Residents of Miller’s Assisted Living were invited to a Meet and Greet where they were introduced to the facility’s newest Team member, Bethany Andrews, RN. Andrews has accepted the position of Resident Service Director on the assisted living side of Miller’s Senior Living campus in Plymouth.
Administrator Al Grossnickle proudly introduced Andrews who stepped in to the position approximately two weeks ago. Grossnickle introduced her as a friend and colleague as well as a new leader on the Miller’s campus. He has known her for many years and described her as “seasoned in the health care profession”.
Andrews has been in the health care profession for 41 years. She explained to the residents that she went in to nursing because she “wanted to make a difference in people’s lives”. In her years of experience she has discovered that getting to know people and getting involved with them is the first step in making that difference. She stated that she is looking forward to getting to know each and every resident who makes their home at the assisted living.
Staff and volunteers were on hand to serve refreshments during the Meet and Greet. Refreshments were provided by the dietary and activity departments.
