On Wednesday September 20, Officer Jonathan Bryant with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department served arrest warrants in Marshall County. At approximately 2:00 p.m. Micah Kunkle was located at Behavioral Health Care in Plymouth and was arrested and transported to Starke County for an outstanding Felony warrant.
At approximately 3:00 p.m. while investigating a complaint at the Inwood Trailer Park Donald Lowe was taken into custody for an outstanding Felony Warrant out of LaPorte County.
At approximately 8:30 p.m. Patrol Officers Bryant and Jordan Rans located and arrested Gunnar Vanhorn at the Red Rock Inn. Mr. Vanhorn was taken into custody for a Felony warrant and a body attachment out of Marshall County and a Felony warrant out of Fulton County.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
