MugShot_Blake KsiezycOn Sunday, September 17th at 12:38 AM, an officer with the Marshall County Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a silver 2003 Dodge Stratus in the area of US 30 and Union Road. 

The officer detected a strong smell of marijuana emitting from the vehicle.  A search of the vehicle resulted in marijuana and paraphernalia being located. 

The driver, 19 year old Blake Kelly Ksiezyc of LaPorte was also found to be under the influence of a controlled substance with a passenger under the age of 18 in the vehicle. 

He was taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for  Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Engendering a Person and Operating on a Controlled Substance. His cash bond was set at $3,000.
