Crash investigation_VehicularTwo people were injured Wednesday night in a serious accident at US 30 and Oak Drive.

Emergency responders from the Plymouth Police Department and Fire Department responded to the two vehicle crash at 11:25 p.m.

Officer Chris Miller, the investigating officer arrived on the scene and found a passenger vehicle on the north side embankment of US 30 westbound.  He also located a semi-tractor and trailer in the empty field east of Arby’s.

Details of the crash have not been released but the names have been.  23 year old Jade N. Sorba of Monterrey was the driver of the car.  She was transported by Plymouth Paramedics to the trauma center at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.  68 year old Foster Providence of Brooklyn, NY, the driver of the semi was transported to Saint Joseph Health System in Plymouth where he received treatment for the injuries.

This accident is currently under investigation.

Plymouth Police were assisted at the scene by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana State Police.
