The Indiana Department of Transportation is seeking snowplow drivers.
INDOT is seeking seasonal winter program workers to perform general highway maintenance duties during the winter season, November to March. Seasonal winter program workers perform snow and ice removal operations and earn $15 per hour, plus overtime as needed.
Seasonal workers must possess a valid commercial driver’s license, be able to rotate shifts when necessary, be able to endure exposure to inclement weather, submit to and pass a drug test and be able to lift 50 pounds.
INDOT is conducting several job fairs in the LaPorte District in order to fill multiple seasonal winter program worker job openings. Job seekers who submit applications at the district job fairs may be interviewed for positions on the spot. A job fair will be held on the Plymouth sub- district on October 5th at 2845 Jack Greenlee Drive, formerly Commerce Street, behind Pioneer Seed.
