On Friday, September 8th, about at 9:30 at night, Marshall County Officer Wozniak initiated a traffic stop on Cortland Street east of Michigan Street in LaPaz on a white 2001 Ford Explorer.  The driver of the vehicle, 44 year old Shawn T. Buck of LaPaz was found to be operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance.  He was also found to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.  He was taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, Operating a Vehicle with a BAC of .15% or more, Operating While Intoxicated Endangering and Operating on a Controlled Substance.

He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
