City HallThe City of Plymouth will conduct their regular meetings Monday evening beginning at a 6 p.m., but now in a new location, the meeting room of the Plymouth Fire Department.

Agenda for the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting includes opening bids for the city’s fall crack seal projects, the final change order for the Plymouth Goshen Trail Water Main extension Project and reports from city department heads.

A resolution setting Halloween Trick or Treat hours is expected to be approved along with one designating surplus property for sale at auction.

Roland Houin from Fourway Computer is expected to request permission to update equipment on the city tower.

The Plymouth Common Council meeting should begin about 6:30.  Their agenda includes a public hearing for the pre-adoption for the 2018 budget, the first reading of an ordinance for appropriations and tax rates for 2018, the ordinance to set salaries for 2018, and first reading of an ordinance to vacate Allen Street.

City Council members will consider a resolution declaring real estate at American Container to be within an Economic Revitalization Area as the first set of the Tax Abatement process.  A second resolution would transfer appropriations in the general fund as requested by the mayor and forwarded to the Common Council for their action and passage.

Under requests is the lease with Mr. Umbaugh for the first floor of a building 2 door south of city hall that will become a temporary city hall while the renovations at happening, a request to house chickens in the city limits and approval of an executive order regarding gees at the Plymouth Municipal Airport.

Remember the city meetings have been moved to the meeting room at the Plymouth Fire Department.  Participants are to use the south door.
