motorcycle-crashMarshall County Police are continuing their investigation into an incident Wednesday night involving a motorcycle, high speed pursuit and crash.

About 11:30 Wednesday night Marshall County Sheriff`s Officer Bragg attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a motorcycle in the area of Michigan and 1st Roads. The vehicle failed to stop, turned east on Tyler Road, at which point a high speed pursuit ensued. The motorcycle crashed on Tyler Road west of Lilac Road.

The driver of the motorcycle, Jesse L. Elliott of Nappanee, was located and secured.   Elliott had lacerations to his legs and complaints of pain in his hips and legs. He was transported to a landing zone and airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for medical evaluation and treatment.
