Sunday night, August 20th, about 11:30, Marshall County Officer Wozniak initiated a traffic stop in the area of US 30 and Pioneer Drive on a blue 1998 Chevrolet Lumina.  During the traffic stop, the officer detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from inside the vehicle.  A search of the vehicle resulted in approximately 17 grams of marijuana and 7 and a half Xanax pills. 

MugShot_Hunter SorensonThe driver, 23 yar old Hunter Sorenson of Arizona, was taken to the jail for possession of a schedule II controlled substance and held on a $2,250 cash bond.   

MugShot_Kevin MurphyThe front seat passenger, 23 year old Kevin Murphy also of Arizona was taken to the jail for possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession of marijuana. He was held on a $2,250 bond.

MugShot_Cody DehutThe backseat passenger, 19 year old Cody Dehut of Fort Wayne was under the influence of alcohol.  He was lodged in the jail for possession of marijuana and illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
