City NEwsDonnie Davidson, the Utility Superintendent for the City of Plymouth gave members of the Board of Public Works and Safety an update on two projects during Monday’s meeting.

The roof replacement project at the Ledyard Water Treatment Plant on the filter room has been completed.  The materials supplier will be here within three week to do the certification on the installation.  Davidson said the roof is working well.  With several rains there have been no leaks.

Another project is the Richter Road water-main extension project that was awarded to Haskins Underground.   The notice to proceed was given last Friday and they began mobilizing on Monday.  They were to connect to the existing water-main at Richter and Baker Streets on Tuesday.  The pipe for the project should be installed before Labor Day.
