Arrested_handcuffSaturday afternoon a 911 call at 12:45 sent Plymouth Police to the 1700 block of West Jefferson Street for a reported battery.

A witness told the 911 dispatch center that a younger female, 23 year old Jasmine Perry was battering an older female, 47 year old Barbara Jo Finney.

Officer Steve DeLee detained Jasmine Perry.  She was transported to the Plymouth Hospital to be evaluated by Bowen Center.  Barbara Jo Finney was found to be intoxicated.  She was taken to Saint Joseph Health System ER to be checked out and then transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for Public Intoxication.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
