This Saturday, The Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour is hosting John Kennedy for four songs and interviews. John is best know as the leader of Kennedy’s Kitchen, a well-known Celtic band gracing our region and supporting Irish traditions for the past two decades.
John’s songs are written in the Irish tradition and use internal rhyme schemes to punctuate their rhythms. His baritone is truly spectacular in its depth and character and his lyrics are well-developed and thoughtful.
Joining John will be long-time band member, Chris O’Brien. Also on the program will be Marcy Prochaska, one of Marshall County’s fine hammer dulcimer players. She’ll be sharing an original of her own. All that and The Wild Rose Moon Game Show, “Shoot the Moon!” A chance for one of you to participate in a little quiz contest, designed specifically to compliment our guest musicians.
