During the public hearing, City Attorney Sean Surrisi said the portion of the street from the Yellow River to East Lake Avenue needed to be vacated for the River Gate South residential apartment complex.  He noted that the surrounding property is owned by the City of Plymouth and the utility easement is being finalized.

Surrisi told the council the City Plan Commission will consider a primary/secondary approval of a one lot subdivision next week for this project.  All of the lots will be platted a one single lot for the project.

While the grant application requires two quotes and the work not being complete before seeking the grant, Treat said he wasn’t expecting to spend that much for the projects.  The City Council approved the 20% reimbursement for $800.
