Emergency responders from Plymouth were dispatched to a tanker leaking in the K-Mart parking lot just before 8 a.m. Monday morning.
Fire Chief Rod Miller said the tanker had been parked for several hours and was not placard. It didn’t take him long to determine the leak was a river of milk.
While emergency responders were not needed the city Utility Superintendent and Street Department Superintendent did responded to the scene due to the leak. Appropriate measures were taken because of the spill which had to be reported to IDEM.
