Marshall_County MuseumThe Marshall County Museum in downtown Plymouth will be adding additional security precautions after experiencing several issues with juveniles on the museum’s roof.

During the commissioner’s meeting last week, Linda Rippy, Executive Director said kids have been able to access the roof of the museum and have caused damage in the past.  She was also fearful of the electrical components on the roof and the fact of just being on a two story building, let alone the fact that it’s against the law.

A couple of times Rippy the museum staff have been able to catch the juvenile suspects and turned them over to the law.

While museum staff and city police are keeping a watchful eye on the building the public’s assistance is requested too.  If you see something, say something by calling the police and reporting it as soon as you see it.

Rippy told the commissioners additional measures will be taken in the very near future to add to the current security system.   She also noted that anyone caught trespassing will be turned over the police.
