On Saturday July 24th, at 10:58 pm, the Marshall County Sheriff`s Department was contacted in reference to a single vehicle collision that occurred in the 1200 block of Jarrah Road.
Deputy Hollopeter responded and conducted an investigation. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 34 year old Christopher M. Carmer of New Paris. It is believed that alcohol was a factor in this collision. Carmer was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle with BAC of .15g or more (A-Misdemeanor) and booked into the Marshall County Jail.
