Bourbon policeOn Sunday, July 23rd, Bourbon Police Officer Matt Geiger stopped a blue, 2002 Ford Focus on State Road 331 and US 30 for a traffic violation.  Making contact with the driver, 54 year old Mitch R. Hunsberger of Etna Green the officer was able to determine that Mr. Hunsberger had been drinking.

Hunsberger agreed to and failed field sobriety tests and was taken for a certified blood test.  Test results showed Hunsberger had a blood alcohol content of .125%.

Mitch Hunsberger was arrested for felony Operating While Intoxicated due to having a previous conviction of OWI within the last 5 years.

Mr. Hunsberger was given a court date of Tuesday, August 1st in Marshall Superior Court II with a cash bond of $1,500.
