Taco WarsAfter Marshall County restaurants battled it out in the past to find the best burgers and pizzas in the county, it is time to set our sights on Tacos! Marshall County Tourism is proud to announce this year’s Taco Wars! Up to ten restaurants will be nominated to compete in an online voting contest to see who makes the best Taco in Marshall County.

The nomination phase for Taco War kicks off Today, Wednesday July 12, hosted on Marshall County Tourism websitewww.VisitMarshallCounty.org . The nomination phase will last one week. After the top ten restaurants have been nominated they will move onto the voting rounds to find out who makes the best Taco in the county. The voting round will kick off July 21 and will end on July 31. On July 31, Marshall County Tourism will crown the “Best Taco in Marshall County” and the winner will move on to the regional round to compete against the other county winners to vie for “Best Taco in Indiana’s Cool North”.  The regional round kicks off August 4 and will finish on August 14.

Let customer’s voices be heard!  Voters can log in to vote each day to make sure their favorite restaurant gets the credit it deserves.  Voters are encouraged to sign in and vote each round for a chance to win the grand prize of $25 gift certificate to the winning restaurant announced at the end of the competition.

And the competition doesn’t end there! Marshall County Taco Wars is running simultaneously with six other county Taco Wars as part of the Indiana’s Cool North Taco Wars project.
