Looking for something to do this weekend? Experience the 33rd Annual Culver Lake Fest, where they have planned a great time for your entire family.
The fun starts Friday afternoon at 4 with the food and craft booths opening. They will have all kinds of mouthwatering food from elephant ears to BBQ ribs and ice cream to homemade lemonade. If you are seeking that one of a kind gift, stroll through the Arts and Crafts booths, with over 20 artisans specializing in hand crafted items. In addition, several commercial vendors will be available. There’s also a sand volley ball tournament and the canoe/kayak poker run, Miss Maxinkuckee Pageant and Talent at Lake Max.
Saturday morning there’s a family bass fishing tournament, the annual Lake Fest Fun Run, pancake and sausage breakfast and of course the Parade which begins at 10.
The Lake Fest offers a variety of kids games on Saturday along with the firemen’s water ball contest, corn hole tournament and live entertainment: The Jhonny & Sallie Show, Sentimental Journey and Night Shift. And you won’t want to miss the spectacular firework by the Mad Bomber at 10.
Sunday is another pancake and sausage breakfast with a community church service at 8:30. The classic car show kicks off at 9 and a 3 on 3 basketball tournament at 10. Of course you can find lots of great things to eat and crafts to buy in the park all day long.
