Driver and Passenger Arrested following Traffic Stop by County Police

MugShot_Florencio Gonzalez-PrietoMarshall County Police Officer Wozniak initiated a traffic stop on a black 2006 Ford pickup truck for traveling 89 MPH in a posted 60 MPH zone Saturday, June 24th at 10 p.m.  The driver of the vehicle, 34 year old Florencio Gonzalez-Prieto of Albuquerque, New Mexico, was found to be under the influence of alcohol, marijuana and cocaine.

MugShot_Ricardo Rangel MunozA passenger in the vehicle, 45 year old Ricardo Rangel Munoz of South Bend was found to be in possession of cocaine.

The subjects were both takento the Marshall County and during the booking process Mr. Munoz was found to have additional cocaine in his wallet.

Munoz was booked in to Possession of Cocaine and held on a $1,500 cash bond. Gonzalez-prieto was booked or OWI over .15%, Operating on a Controlled Substance and OWI Endangering a Person.  His cash bond was set at $4,500.
