WayfindingSign_Mich-PlyGoshenCitizens and visitors to the City of Plymouth will begin to see new wayfinding signs before the Labor Day holiday weekend according to City Attorney Sean Surrisi.  During Monday’s Board of Public Works and Safety meeting Surrisi unveiled the new signs.

WayfindingSign_exampleThe past year, a 10 person committee lead by Shelley Heiden from Heiden Creative has been meeting regularly to develop wayfinding signs for the city.   The committee selected the design look of the new signs, location placement of the new signs and determined which points of interest would be listed on the new signs.

The new signs will direct visitors to the schools, city parks, museum, chamber, visitor’s center and more.  A special removable sign was developed to help promote the farmers’ market during the season.
