City HallThe City of Plymouth will conduct their regular meetings Monday evening beginning at 6 p.m. with the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.  Agenda for the meeting includes opening bids for an ambulance chassis, department head reports, the 2017 Pavement Asset Management Plan, approval of proposed lease with Emanuel Reese for parking spaces in the Water Street city parking lot.

The Plymouth Common Council meeting is scheduled for 6:30.  Their agenda includes an ordinance amendment to the 2017 Salary Ordinance for Fire and Police.  The change in the ordinance will provide an increase in pay for police officers.

Earlier this month a committee made the recommendation to the Board of Public Works and Safety to increase police pay from $46,800 up to $52,500 after reviewing the pay of other agencies in the area where officers relocating to.    This pay increase will take effect on July 1st.

Both the Board of Public Works and Safety and Common Council meetings are open to the public although comments and questions are limited to agenda items.  The meeting are held in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
