The Triton seventh and eighth graders who completed all of their homework for the last grading period and passed all of their classes were treated to a baseball game at the South Bend Cubs ballpark on 5/16/17.
This was the fourth Nine Weeks Incentive Trip for Jr. High students at Triton.
Local beekeeper, Shawn Hooley, visited the first grade classes at Triton Elementary School again. He was returning from a trip to a bee operation in Georgia where he got a new queen bee and about 20,000 worker bees. Shawn explained how the bees are packaged to travel safely , and how they are familiarized with their new queen. The students really enjoyed this up close encounter with bees! Second graders from Triton Elementary School celebrated the end of the school year with a field trip to Healthworks and the park.
