Georgetown Man Arrested at Jellystone Campground for Battery

mUGsHOT_Nicholas TharpDeputy Bragg with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to the Jellystone Yogi Bear Campground at 7719 Redwood Road Tuesday morning, May 30th at 6:40 for a battery and possible robbery.  The report indicated the suspect might still be in the campground.

While interviewing the victim who had substantial injuries to his face, he identified the suspect of the battery.  29 year old Nicholas T. Tharp of Georgetown, IN was located, taken into custody and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Battery with Moderate Bodily Injury.  He was held in on a $1,500 cash bond.
