arrested_handcuffsSunday morning Plymouth Police Officer John Weir arrested a Plymouth man for Leaving the Scene of a Accident and Operator Never Licensed.

Plymouth Police were dispatches to Michigan and Jefferson Streets for an accident.  Before units arrived the dispatch center was told that a black car was leaving the scene of the accident, heading north on North Michigan Street.

Officer Weir located the suspect vehicle as it turned onto Klinger Street.  The driver, 36 year old Juan Carlos Alvarez Salina of Skylane Avenue was found to have never obtained a driver’s license.  He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on the two charges with a $1,500 cash bond.
