Wednesday afternoons beginning April 5 from 1-3, expert photograph digitizers will be at the Marshall County Museum to scan interesting, historical and family photographs and add them to the community collection. Collecting Memories is a photograph scanning project initiated by the genealogy society.
The group is seeking community photos from around Marshall County to scan and build the museum’s permanent collection of street scenes, buildings (businesses and houses), group activities, important community moments, and photo portraits of people.
The pictures must be good and clear, and the people, places and events should be identified. Each photo should be clear with sharp details, an interesting subject, and not subject to copyright violations. Bring your pictures in and take them home the same day. This project will continue on Wednesday afternoons through September.
