Police are no longer searching for the two suspects, 30-year-old Edward Blackburn and 39-year-old Augusta Hadden, in the fatal Stark County shooting case.
Authorities took the suspects into custody on Saturday just before 12:45 p.m. when the suspects were discovered at the SpringHill Suites hotel on Edison Lakes Parkway in Mishawaka. Friday night, officers responded to the 1400 block of West 400 South. There, they found 35-year-old Cord Colgrove, of Knox, with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Police haven’t yet said why the shooting occurred. An autopsy will be completed the morning of Monday, March 6th.
