County Building_2The County Drainage Board and Commissioners to meet Monday.

The Drainage Board meets at 8:30 in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.

Members will open and award maintenance bids for the Riley-Warner Arm to the Ballinger-Myers Ditch; Elmer Fletcher Ditch and the Baker Arm to the Paul Sarber Ditch.

Abour 8:40 members will conuinue a hearing concerning a obstruction on the mutual drain to the Kline Ditch in Union Township and at 8:50 Marvin Houin is scheduled for a variance on the Bohmer Ditch.

The City of Plymouth Park Department will present their preliminary plans for a proposed walking bridge from River Park Square to the new South Gateway Residential project and the proposed Kayak Landing.  They will need a variance from the County Drainage Board for the projects.

Under miscellaneous business it the Sechrist Ditch with is a joint ditch with Kosciusko County, approval of minutes and the 2017 report of maintenance assessment collections.                                                                                                                                                                                                        

The Marshall County Commissioners will meet Monday morning, Tuesday, February 20th at 9:30 a.m. in their second floor meeting room of the County Building.

Agenda for the meeting includes the Highway Department, Linda Rippy from the Marshall County Museum with her quarterly report, and Recorder Marlene Mahler presenting a request to offer E-Recording in her office.

County Attorney Jim Clevenger will present his report and County Auditor Julie Fox will offer the minutes and mid-month claims for approval.  Also listed on the agenda are Commissioner Items.  The County Commissioner meeting is open to the public and comments and questions are welcome.
