Officer John Weir and his K9 partner Jax along with Assistant Chief Mark Owen located the vehicle in question and observed the vehicle “all over the roadway.”
A traffic stop was conducted at North and Michigan Streets and the driver, 22 year old Brandon Ciavardoni of Rochester was found to be under the influence of a narcotic drug.
During a search of the vehicle Jax indicated the presence of a controlled substance that was located.
Ciavardoni was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $3,000 cash bond for Possession of a Scheduled Substance and Operating a vehicle While Intoxicated on a controlled substance.
