On Tuesday, January 24th, the Regional Development Authority Board met in Elkhart. All board members agreed on the importance of rotating the officers of the RDA annually so that each member and their respective community would have the opportunity to lead the efforts of the RDA during their term. As such, the board elected the following officers to serve during 2017:
The new Chairman will be John DeSalle from Hoosier Racing Tire Corp. representing Marshall County.
Vice Chair for 2017 will be Kristin Pruittwith the Lakeland Financial Corp. representing Saint Joseph County.
Secretary-Treasurer for this year will be Dallas Bergl from INOVA Federal Credit Union. He represents Elkhart County.
Pete McCown will continue his role as a member and chair of the Regional Economic Development Strategy Committee, and John Affleck-Graves will continue his role as a member and RDA Liaison of the Workforce Committee.
