Officer Wozniak with the Marshall County Police Department stopped a vehicle Friday morning, January 20th, at approximately 1:15 in the area of US 31 and State Road 10.
The driver, 19 year old Jerry Shelton of Peru was found to be operating a vehicle without a driver`s license and under the influence of alcohol as a minor.
A female passenger, 19 year old Aubrey Popelas of Gary was found to be under the influence of alcohol as a minor.
They were both taken to the Marshall County Jail.
