ArrestedA Knox man was arrested Sunday evening for Strangulation following an incident at the Super 8 Motel at 2160 North Oak Drive.

City police were dispatched to the motel for a reported battery when 36 year old Kenneth Adams of Lafayette reported he had been assaulted and strangled by 42 year old Willard Solberg of Knox.

Adams had visible signs of injury consistent with his side of the story according to Officer Emenhiser.

Solberg was located near the motel, apprehended and booked into the Marshall County Jail for Battery and Strangulation and held on a $3,000 cash bond.

Police found an active warrant through Fulton County for Solberg.
