thewell_ann-bigley-jan-8-20172017 got off to a great start at The Well on Sunday evening, January 8th.  The Well is located at 199 E. Adams St. which is the Educational Building of The First United Methodist Church of Plymouth.  The Well speaker welcomed all in attendance to The Well and opened the evening with prayer.  The Well Band under the direction of Tom Boys set the tone for the evening leading the group in several worship songs

Special guest musician, Ann Bigley of Culver shared her musical talent at The Well by playing REJOICE from Handel’s Messiah as well as a beautifully arranged rendition of JOY TO THE WORLD.

Flagg began a new series titled The Seven Laws of the Spiritual Laws: “Law #1 – He Is GOD, We Are Not”.  Flagg shared that“The Seven Laws of the Spiritual Life” is a short list of the basic principles of the Christian life. They are truths that every believer needs to know in order to have a healthy relationship with God.

Ending the evening on a lighter note, Bigley was invited back to the piano to end the service with a tongue- in-cheek song (lyrics written by Garrison Keillor) “The Methodist Blues”.  The crowd left with smiles on their faces.

The Well provides an environment where individuals may come and relax, revive, replenish, and rejuvenate each Sunday evening at 5:00 p.m. Come as you are and share a snack as we share Scripture and enjoy the uplifting music of The Well Praise Band.  The Well is looking for more band members and people interested in providing special music, skits, poems, monologues, etc.  To volunteer or for more information call the church at 574-936-2943 or Cindy at 574-952-3661.
