Marshall_County_JailMarshall County Sheriff Matt Hassel recently released the 2016 November jail report.

The Top Ten offenses for being booked into the county Jail in November were:  number 10 Receiving Stolen Property, number 9 Public Intoxication, number 8 Battery, number 7 Probation Violations, and number 6 Theft.  Looking at the top five you have Operator Never Licensed as number 5, Failure to Appear as number 4, Driving While Suspended as number 3, Marijuana is number 2 and Operating While Intoxicated was the number 1 reason people were lodged in the jail.

There were a total of 168 jail bookings last month with an average daily population of 129.

County Police Officers took 70 case reports, wrote 186 citations, investigated 145 property damage accidents and 12 personal injury accidents in November 2016.
